How to draw an Easter Bunny

Hoppy Greetings, Doodle Disciples! Today, we're embracing the spirit of spring and learning how to draw a staple of Easter celebrations – the Easter Bunny!

Step 1

Draw a circle with a long oval underneath it.

Step 2

Add some loops for her ears, loops for her feet, loops for her arms, the start of a little ribbon, and a little triangle nose.

Step 3

Add circles to the insides of her ears, add some lines to her feet for toes, draw on a bow under her chin, draw two dots for her eyes, and a few whiskers. Finally, add a big smile since Easter bunnies are always happy.

Step 4

Pick out a nice pastel color to color her fur and another to color her ribbon.

Hopefully, she brings some doofy eggs, too!

Now, let's hippity hop into some egg-citing facts about the Easter Bunny.

  1. Global Hopper: Though it has German origins, the tradition of the Easter Bunny has spread worldwide. Truly, this bunny has hopped across the globe!

  2. Egg Delivery: The Easter Bunny is often depicted as a rabbit carrying a basket full of eggs. Why a rabbit with eggs, you ask? It's believed to symbolize fertility and new life.

  4. Bunny Varieties: The Easter Bunny can be portrayed in various ways, from a suit-wearing, basket-carrying character to a natural rabbit with an affinity for eggs.

  5. Easter Parade: In some cultures, the Easter Bunny even participates in parades and public celebrations, bringing joy and sweets to children and adults alike.

Remember, the goal at DoofyDoodles isn't to create a perfect replica, but to enjoy the process and have fun. So, let's hop into our creative minds and doodle an egg-ceptional Easter Bunny!
